FIFA 2014 World Cup version (suggestions)

We can discuss about good gameplay features (if you have ideas) later on for our future private versions.

This is why I can't take this community seriously. You just pushed my opinion out the window and postponed any discussion of it to a future date instead of talking about it right now.

Keep it up and maybe we can add stadium lights and actually make it dark at night or even better we can get custom models so they look like real players. Keep it up guys.

Features:
-hard/pro mode which counteracts -easy mode
-lengthen/prolong mode which adds 5 minutes to match time
-New goal message -- showing both hero name (eg. Bastian Shweinsteiger) and player name after a goal
-Nation voting dialog -- 5 buttons instead of 4
-Updated player names for some countries according to shine's post
-Updated F9 menu

About -easy mode: It was the idea that we had with gado and weeble to make the "FIFA World Cup 2014" version specifically aimed at newcomers, so that new players could enjoy the map and score easily with C goals, worse keepers and other bonuses. Also, 10 mins is huge for new players and they would prefer 5 min halves, but that's too low for us, so I made it 7.5. If we want to play 10 mins, there is -lengthen or -prolong mode which adds 5 mins to match time. And as you've guessed, there is the -pro mode to make gameplay like in normal versions.

@Cooled: wow... have you actually checked the name of this topic? Right, this is the topic for the "WORLD CUP VERSION", so if you think its so urgent to discuss stuff apart the world cup version, why dont you open an accordant new thread for it? Then you would not have got such a response...

So by that same logic we can't discuss anything in this thread.  The sooner we put in necessary changes the better so why would I make a new thread if it's going to get shot down by you and other hypocrites?

Edit: and last I checked this thread has the word suggestion in it so i suggested we make some useful changes rather than trivial ones.

Changes:
-The map is optimized and protected, has 500 KB less size, and is 5.2 MB
-Hints enabled by default for all players
-Brazuca ball by default
-Hard/pro mode now also disables hints and brings back the old ball

This map needs extensive testing after which we can release it without the "RC" tag, as the final version.
Please upload it on the bot asap.

Yep, maybe a "Clan FOOT" banner and a "FIFA" banner? Any of them.
Also, could you show me how to "rotate" banner animations, because I've lost that knowledge.
Fixed curve icon?

Stadium - I don't think so, since the release is looming on the horizon already.
But perhaps, for the next "big" public release (like UEFA 2016 or FIFA 2015?) we could include a small stadium, or rather rows of seats(?) around the pitch.

Changes from the World Cup 2014 (RC) Version to add to the EASY ver:
- Mention Clan FOOT and forum link (warcraftsoccereu.forumotion.com) in map description

& changes from the 7.47c0.6 ver to add to the PRO ver:
- Remove curve completely
- Remove vmod completely

If these changes are made it would be perfecT!!

-nocurve is a command now; it instantaneously removes curve ability from all players without launching a voting
-curve angle reduced to 20 degrees (from 30) in all modes
-easy mode: keeper's "get ball range" reduced to 120 from 140

Ok, there's one last-minute change that I did to "FIFA World Cup 2014" version.

-easy mode: when having the ball, bots still incur full penalty on movement speed, while human players have only 50% penalty
in other words, bots' speed with ball = 200, human player speed with ball = 245 (in easy mode), normal speed without ball = 290

-V mod nerf: now slowing down players who performed a successful v mod for 1.5 sec (similar to slide/C slowdown)
-nocurve is a command now, it immediately removes curve ability from all players
-curve angle reduced to 20 degrees (from 30) in all modes

LOL, nice idea. How did we not think of this?
Then we can also make buttons (in nation voting) for both teams random, so that all match-ups could be played.

• -teams mode, that allows you to set countries you want to play for, even if they are both peasants/peons. For example, Germany vs Netherlands is not normally possible, but you can do it with -teams command, just type "-teams germany netherlands"
